Terms of Service
PennyPeeps is run by Lumon LLC, United States (“Lumon”, “we”). By joining or using PennyPeeps you agree to these terms. Effective October 25, 2026.
Who can use PennyPeeps
You must be 18 or older and in the United States. PennyPeeps is offered only in the United States. One account per person.
Your account
You sign in with Google, Discord or a link we email you, so keep those accounts secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account, except for access you didn’t cause or allow, such as a security failure on our side. Report suspected unauthorized access to support@pennypeeps.com right away.
What you post stays yours
You own the discussions, comments, replies and pictures you post. You give Lumon a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display and distribute them, and to format them, for example by resizing a picture, putting a comment on a share image or video, or having it read aloud by a computer voice. We use this license only to run and promote PennyPeeps. Promoting includes sharing images or video of public discussions and comments on social media. We may pass the license on only to service providers that help us operate PennyPeeps, and only for that work. We don’t sell your content to anyone for their own advertising.
The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept for a limited time in backups and records the law requires us to keep. Copies other people already shared, quoted or saved, like a screenshot or a share image sent before you deleted the comment, may stay available. Removing something from PennyPeeps can’t recall them.
What you promise about it
You have the rights and permissions the law requires for everything you post, including any picture you upload and any identifiable person in it. Nothing you post breaks the law or someone else’s rights, including copyright, privacy and publicity rights.
Content rules
Follow the community guidelines. Sexual content and nudity, hate speech, violent extremism, and content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property are never allowed. We block some of it automatically and remove it when reported. When content is removed for breaking these rules, its pending earnings are cancelled, and Lumon may withhold, void, offset or recover other earnings from it, as the Author Earnings Program describes. Report a comment or a discussion from its report button. Anyone can report an intimate image shared without consent through the image removal form.
Copyright
We respond to copyright notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. The copyright policy says what a notice or counter-notice must include. Send notices to our designated agent:
Lumon LLC, attention: DMCA designated agentEmail: support@pennypeeps.com (subject “Copyright notice”)
In appropriate circumstances we close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe, as the copyright policy describes.
Restricting or closing an account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may remove content, limit features, freeze earnings, or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, the guidelines or the law, or to protect people or PennyPeeps. We close the accounts of people who break them repeatedly.
When we restrict or close your account, we tell you what we did and why, unless the law stops us or telling you would put someone at risk or help someone get around our safety checks. To ask us to look at a decision again, write to support@pennypeeps.com.
What happens to your Pennies and earnings is set out in those programs’ own terms:
- A suspension doesn’t silently erase your Pennies balance, and if we close your account for material rule violations, the license to unused Pennies may be forfeited, subject to mandatory rights (Pennies terms, Existing purchase rights and help).
- If we close your account when you haven’t broken the Pennies terms, or end the Pennies program, we refund your unused purchased Pennies at the price you paid (Pennies terms, If purchases open). Free and reward Pennies can never be redeemed for money (Rewards and invites).
- During a review, Lumon may withhold earnings. After a documented review, it may void unpaid earnings and freeze payouts; payouts already sent are not reversed by that step (Author Earnings Program, Payouts and holds).
- Pending earnings are provisional and are not money owed until they settle (Qualification, pending window and Dislikes). Settled earnings remain payable after closure, subject to the stated holds, adjustment grounds and the law (Removal, closure and support).
The parts of these terms that by their nature should last, like the promises, disclaimers, limits on liability, indemnity and governing law, continue after an account closes.
No warranty
PennyPeeps is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, Lumon disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Comments are the opinions of the people who write them, not Lumon’s, and we don’t promise that anything posted is accurate or that the service will always be available.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, Lumon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Lumon’s total liability for all claims about PennyPeeps is limited to the greater of $100 or what you paid Lumon in the 12 months before the claim. It is never less than the value of any purchased Pennies you haven’t used, at the price you paid, plus any settled author earnings Lumon owes you at that time.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, such as liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct or fraud, or your rights under consumer-protection laws. Some states don’t allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, if someone else makes a claim against Lumon because of your breach of these terms, your content or your unlawful conduct, you will defend and cover Lumon for that claim, including reasonable legal fees. We will tell you about the claim promptly, and you may take part in it with your own lawyer. We won’t agree to a settlement that admits fault for you or puts obligations on you without your consent.
Governing law
Tennessee law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee, and you and Lumon agree to their jurisdiction. This doesn’t take away any protection the law where you live gives you that can’t be waived by agreement.
Changes
We may update these terms. We post each new version here with its date. For a material change, we tell you by email or with a notice on PennyPeeps at least 14 days before it takes effect. Changes needed for legal or safety reasons can take effect right away. If you don’t agree, you can stop using PennyPeeps and delete your account; if you keep using it after a change takes effect, the new version applies to that use.
We record which version of these terms, the Pennies terms and the Author Earnings Program you accepted, and when. You can’t buy Pennies until you accept the current Pennies terms, and a new version applies to your purchases only once you accept it. Setting up payouts asks you to accept the current Author Earnings Program.
How these terms fit together
These terms, with the Pennies terms, the Author Earnings Program if you join it, the community guidelines and the copyright policy, are the whole agreement between you and Lumon about PennyPeeps. If they conflict, the Pennies terms win for Pennies, the Author Earnings Program wins for author earnings, and these terms win for everything else. How we handle your information is in the privacy notice.
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, that part is limited only as much as needed and the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a part right away, we haven’t given it up.
